Morning,

I have imported a Greater London Road Network.shp into TRACC. However, the whole of the shapefile (Greater London!) is smaller than 20m and I am unable to zoom any further.

Is this an issue with the data I have imported or can I re-scale the data within TRACC.

Thanks

Alex

Hi Alex,

It sounds like the data you have loaded is in Long Lat projection, can you change this to British National Grid in a GIS and then re-load?

I thought it would most likely be the co-ord system. I believe the data is currently in WGS84.

I do not have access to ArcGIS but may be able to change co-ordinate system with Spatial Manager a software which converts .osm to .shp files.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks
Alex

I have managed to convert the data to OS1936 co-ord system . When importing into Visography it is coming up with the following error (something I imagine is an issue from the software I used to convert the data):

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: "The file specified does not exist."

at ThinkGeo.MapSuite.Core.ShapeFileIndex.2CI=(FileAccess nT8=)

Is that an issue with the convertor or Visography?

Thanks

Hi Alex

I see someone is dealing with this via our TRACC support email, so will let them support you.

Kind Regards, Admin
