Importing from another project Hi Ian,

Thanks for this, regarding the project that you're having issues with importing data from - please can you share this with us? Was this created in an older version of TRACC - one from the beta days?

Regarding the selection of multiple data types, we can only do this for each layer at a time, we suggest creating a boundary using the draw tool, then using this as the cutter for each individual layer - if that makes sense?

Slow speed of csv export Hi Andy,

In settings> Database settings there's an option to change the bulk copy number of rows, the default is 1000. You can increase this number to increase the speed of writing to the CSV files - depending on the specification of your machine you may be able to change this to 100,000 rows at a time. This will speed up the export process.

The report layout is meant to make it much more simple to further interrogate in SQL, also allows two columns for the destination name/description to be exported so it's a self contained sheet.

Let us know if changing the number of rows solves the speed issue.

Slow speed of csv export Hi Andy,

Yes this number is very much dependent on the machine being utilised, hopefully this is taught during the training course - we might during setup in the future allow users to specify how "good" their machine is - then change the settings based on this...

Global Edit of road links Hi Rowley,

Do you mean when clicking on a road link and viewing the detail, the speed is the same - or on the Global Edit dialogue box?

Global Edit of road links Hi Rowley,

If you change an A Road speed in the Global Edit option, then select an A road in TRACC - has the speed updated?

The Global Edit screen will always revert back to the default settings.

Let me know... Admin

Global Edit of road links Rowley,

Ok great, glad it's worked. Do you think we should change the dialogue box to represent the changes - not the default speeds?

Global Edit of road links Rowley,

Thanks for this, I have added it onto our feature management tool, this will then allow it to be discussed with our developers here and see about it coming across in version 1.2 - all the best - Admin

Demographic reports Hi Ian,

We have done some testing and when you have 1 destination, both the area and per destination result has come back with the same result which is very strange - but you;re thinking is correct...

Hansen Scores Hi Rowley,

It was decided to not include any of the continuous reporting in TRACC as it was felt that in ACCESSION these were underused and hard to understand. This can be done as a manual process in TRACC, though I am unsure of the methodolgy - I'll ask around the office. - Admin

Migrating database Hi Andy,

Unfortunately the only way to back-up the database is via the settings tab, you then use the back-up function to back the database up - then use the restore function to load that file back in.

Road Network Hi,

Unfortunately not, the map will always remain with North at the top.
